Empire, Hedy: Hollywood’s Secret Weapon, Goodney’s Ghost, Byzantium and Diggy Hoffen Pepper Zee & the Colors of the Rainbow. The duo has also played cello (Sherman) and piano (Hull) in a Hollywood rock band. Caroline’s analyzed and marketed stuff, swum and cycled far, hauled lobster pots, run a grocery store, taught skiing, piloted helicopters and navigated alligators in lazy rivers with Kim. Bob has licensed his original instrumental music for commercial use and is an attorney with a music licensing and estates and trusts background, as well as the proud father, with wife Jennifer Peterson-Hull, of a talented filmmaker daughter, and boys who are accomplished ballet dancers. Caroline and Bob have worked together for so long it’s difficult to tell them apart. Bob’s the taller one. If you need anything, just ask him.
Throughout her more than 40 years as a performer, Tony- winning and Emmy-nominated actress Cady Huffman has also written, produced and directed for theatre, TV and film as well as mentoring young writers, directors and musicians. She has directed at colleges around the country as well as at regional theatres. She has worked closely with BC/EFA, the Drama League and other organizations as well as developing and directing new musicals and theatre pieces in NYC. Having had the privilege of working with such iconic directors as Blake Edwards, Bob Fosse, Mel Brooks, Stephen Frears, Tommy Tune, Susan Stroman, Jack O’Brian and many more, she has always loved looking at the big picture and finding the most compelling stories within. It has been her honor to add Empire, its collaborators, cast and crew to her global theatre community.
Lorna Ventura is a director/ choreographer with a long list of credits from Broadway to film and television. Original Broadway productions include Wicked, Grease, All Shook Up, Harlem Song, Nice Work If You Can Get It and The Life, as an original cast member or associate choreographer. In addition, her collaborations and relationships with elite directors such as George C. Wolfe, Joe Mantello, Kathleen Marshall, Charles Randolph Wright, Ruben Santiago Hudson and Billy Porter have allowed her to hone her craft and transition with grace into the director/choreographer’s seat.
